Large Vessel Transport Happening This Morning Through Lafayette

Motorists in Lafayette may want to take note of the following information. Three large steel vessels will be transported through the parish this morning which may cause some congestion.

Berard Transportation will be transporting three large steel vessels which reach nearly 20 feet in height. The size requires local utilities to lift wires and traffic signals.

Louisiana State Police will escort the vehicles which will depart Carencro around 8:30am today.

The entire trip should take about six hours and will end at the Port of Iberia.
