Les Miles Makes A Visit To ‘Mike The Tiger’

We broke the news earlier this week that the live mascot for the LSU Tigers, Mike VI, has cancer. The cancer, which is inoperable, is located near the nose of the bengal tiger.

Well, this week Mike received several "Get Well" cards for fans and rivals, but no visit may have been more emotional than when LSU football coach Les Miles visited Mike.

Coach Miles and Mike seem to have a very special bond and when Coach stopped by Mike's habitat, the bengal tiger couldn't resist the visit.

What an emotional picture and what a GREAT man Coach Miles is. Often what Coach Miles does off the field is way more important and meaningful than what he does on the field.
