What would we do without Lil B? Today the enigmatic, legendary Bay Area rapper posted a picture of one of the most mysterious musicians in the industry – Frank Ocean – thus confirming that Frank isn't exactly the hermit everyone thinks he is.

There's no saying where he the picture was taken, though people in Brandon's comments seem to think Frank is in Lil B's studio. That'd make sense, because in late 2014 Lil B posted a picture of them together in the lab. "RARE photo of LIL B x FRANK OCEAN IN THE STUDIO TOGETHER!! NEW MUSIC COMING SOON! Collect this!" read the caption.

We've yet to see any collaborations come from these two, but everyone knows the entire Odd Future camp was inspired by and looks up to the Based God. (Earl and Tyler are avid fans.) Despite what you think about his music, there's no denying Lil B is an important part not just of West Coast hip-hop, but rap in general. Can't you see his influence on every other new rapper coming out now? He even showed Lil Yachty Bernie Sanders. The man is an icon at this point.

Last week the internet was ablaze with unsubstantiated, silly rumors that Frank Ocean would be dropping an album out of nowhere. The rumors were later confirmed to be fake, but the Golf Media Twitter account didn't help matters when they tweeted "OCEAN" on the same day Frank was said to be dropping. Still no word on that, though.

Take a minute to thank the Based God for this very #rare photo of Frank, and let's pray that the Channel Orange follow-up is on the way. After all, it's supposed to be better than his old music.
