Lil' Kim is once again having to come out and herself after receiving tons of slander about a photo of herself and Kim Kardashian. This time, the image features the Brooklyn rapper and Kanye West's wife at his Yeezy Season 3 event and it's causing a stir on social media from a sea of haters.

There are two images of the same photo. One, posted by Kardashian, shows the two entertainers posing side-by-side. Another image of the same photo put on Instagram by the Hard Core rhymer looks like it has been lightened dramatically, leaving people in the comments section to move quickly with the bashing.

Feeling the need to speak up on the issue, the former Junior Mafia member went to Instagram to reveal it was actually Kardashian who darkened her photo, and the rapper lightened hers to make her makeup stand out. She chose a video of herself working in the studio with Maino (they're recording a remix of Desiigner's "Panda") on the same day she posed for the photo with Kardashian to address how her skin color is exactly the same as it always is.

"Some of you are just so miserable and unhappy with yourself that you have nothing else to do than to come on my page and just hate and talk about me on the blogs," Lil' Kim wrote. "It's clear that I'm lighter in this video than the picture that Kim posted. Which is still a very gorgeous photo. I lightened up the picture because I like when the makeup pops a little more and you can see the beauty of the makeup that @tasha_mack_mua did. Kim wanted the picture to look a little darker, because that's the way she liked it. Kim is my boo and I wanted to repost it but I saw it in a different way. Either way both pictures are completely gorgeous and are a matter of expression of preference of photography."

Just three weeks ago, the Queen Bee had to set the record straight after fans started to argue over a photoshopped picture of her looking exceptionally hefty.

One thing is for sure. Kim looks a lot different than she did when she dropped her first album, Hard Core, 20 years ago.
