Lil Wayne is finally free of his contract with Cash Money Records, but after the bitter divorce that dragged out over three years, Weezy and Birdman's relationship stays intact.

The two were spotted in the studio together on Thursday (June 7). In the photo, discretely taken by Cash Money producer, D Roc, Tune's back is to the camera as he appears to be talking to a partially blocked Baby, who is sitting down in front of the boards. "'Father like son' We speak things into existence #Cashmoney #Youngmoney #SuperEarz #lilwayne #birdman #blatt 🔥," Roc captioned the pic.

As previously reported, following a lengthy legal battle, news broke that Wayne was released from his Cash Money contract in a multi-million dollar settlement last week. The payout of the settlement, which appeared to be reached in late May, is rumored to be upwards of $10 million.

Wayne's attorney, Ron Sweeney, officially confirmed the settlement with Cash Money Records is complete, but declined to give intimate details. Sweeney of Sweeney, Johnson & Sweeney LLC issued the following statement to Billboard: "Per our settlement agreement, the matter has been amicably resolved to the satisfaction of all parties. In terms of the particulars, we’re prohibited legally from saying anything further. I can say that my client is happy. He is his own man, a man that owns his assets, his music and himself. At some point, Wayne will let his fans know what’s going to happen next."
