Lil Wayne's love of sports has been well-documented, which is why some might not be surprised that Floyd Mayweather is doing a little promoting of the rapper himself. Today, the lauded boxer posted an Instagram video of Wayne and Drake in the studio together.

"#Carter V Season. #BelieveMe," wrote the boxer in the post, which is similar to what Kobe Bryant tweeted earlier this week when he mentioned Weezy's new album, 'Tha Carter V,' was coming soon.

The 15-second clip shows Drizzy and his mentor in the studio bopping ferociously to a beat. Although the video contains its own backing music, which sounds like a xylophone loop, it's hard to tell if that's the actual track they're listening to.

Of course, this isn't the first time Wayne and Mayweather have teamed up. In 2013, during the boxer's fight against Canelo Alverez, he was escorted into the ring by the Young Money head honcho, along with pop sensation Justin Bieber.
