Lil Wayne Kicks Off America’s Most Wanted Festival Tour
Lil Wayne launched his America's Most Wanted Music Festival in Birmingham, Ala., on Tuesday (July 9) and everything went according to plan. The all-star concert featured rap heavyweights T.I. and 2 Chainz on the bill.
Deuce hit the stage first and performed a 30-minute set including his newest hit 'Feds Watching.' Fellow Atlanta rhymer T.I. followed with his set of old and new hits including 'Rubberband Man' and 'Trap Back Jumpin.'
Finally, Wayne graced a stage that was filled with pyrotechnics and skating ramps for skateboarders to do tricks on. The Young Money leader performed an energetic set that also featured semi-naked women dancing behind him. Weezy even performed his controversial verse from Future's 'Karate Chop' song but flipped his lyrics to include an apology to the Emmett Till family. Smart move on his part.
The AMW tour continues in Atlanta tonight (July 12), with two cities in Florida over the weekend. To check out the remaining tour dates, click the button below:
