Lil Wayne isn't changing his tune with regard to his former label, offering up some words of disdain during a recent performance at Onondaga Community College in Syracuse, N.Y. Wayne has cursed Cash Money and its head honcho Birdman for well over a year now for failing to release his album Carter V or pay him past due royalties for the many projects and artists he brought to the label.

In the above clip, Wayne can be heard saying, "You have been motherfuckin’ amazing. My name is Tunechi. I’m here on behalf of Young Mula motherfuckin' baby. Fuck Cash Money in they ass. Holler back."

There was a brief notion that Wayne and Baby were working toward a resolution, though it was reported last month that Birdman called off the negotiations after Wayne performed "I’m Me/1000 Degrees” at the Camp Flog Gnaw Festival in Los Angeles and replaced the lyric “I’m a motherfucking Cash Money millionaire” with “I’m a motherfucking Roc-A-Fella millionaire.” That led to rumors that Wayne was officially switching camps and apparently upset Birdman too, pushing the negotiations to a breaking point. Each side has stuck to its message throughout the ordeal, Birdman maintaining the two will settle their differences while Wayne continues to raise a middle finger high.

Where the battle goes from here is hard to say, though just yesterday Mannie Fresh played an unreleased Wayne track titled “Start This Shit Off Right” that provided a genuine throwback feel.
