Lil Wayne seems more focused on his skateboarding endeavors and launching his TRUKFIT clothing line right now as opposed to music, which he is totally within his rights to do. But the rapper hasn’t abandoned or lost interest in music by any means. Weezy is is set to drop his ‘Dedication 4′ mixtape with DJ Drama on Sept. 3. He prepped fans by delivering a two-minute trailer, comprised of sound clips and black and white images.

The best part of the clip? The soundbyte of President Obama delivering a commencement speech and namedropping Weezy. That’s how you really know you’ve arrived — when the leader of the free world makes mention of you, but not by calling you a “jacka—.”(Sorry, Yeezy!) Shots of other members of his #YMCMB crew, like Nicki Minaj and Drake, are featured.

As we said, the mixtape lands Sept. 3, which is literally right around the corner and a great way to celebrate the Labor Day holiday. It was initially due to land on Aug. 14, but Weezy pushed it since he didn’t want to interfere with 2Chainz release date. How very brah of Weezy to do something cool like that.
