Lil Yachty and Joe Budden are no strangers to Twitter controversy, and now the two are going at it after Budden slighted Lil Boat in a recent video clip for Complex.

In the clip, Budden says, "I don't think Yachty is hip-hop. I don't think Yachty's label is hip-hop, and when you’re not hip-hop and you’re trying to just troll or exploit, you get things like this album cover, which is to draw attention to music that’s not drawing attention.” Nonetheless, Budden concedes he likes the strategy, giving credit to how accepting the gay community is.

Budden also says Yachty is "ruining the culture" and shouldn't be accepted in the culture.

Soon after the video was released, Yachty posted Lil B's 2010 diss record aimed at Budden called "T-Shirts and Buddens." Once Budden saw the tweet posted by Yachty, he responded with some more commentary. While Lil Boat captioned the tweet containing the diss track with "My Mood," the 36-year-old Budden responded with "Fuck your mood." He then continued by tweeting, "Mood....nigga lol" before fans started showing their excitement that their favorite rapper could make a diss track of his own at Yachty. One fan wrote, "coming out of retirement that fast?" with Budden stating, "just having fun." Yachty capped off the back-and-forth with a Kanye shrugging gif you can see below.

While Budden is never shy of responding to shots at him, and even makes sure to throw back shots of his own, he also has a pretty good sense of humor. The rapper wrote, "That Lil B diss still hard all these years later" to show his light-hearted side.
