Big Baller Brand ambassador and UCLA student athlete LiAngelo Ball is now a free man after he and his teammates were arrested for shoplifting in China. While President Trump said he contacted Xi Jinping, who operates as the General Secretary of the Communist Party of China, to resolve the issue and get Ball and company home, Lil Yachty isn't buying the hype. Lil Boat say's it was the power of BBB that liberated the basketball star.

Speaking with TMZ, Yachty put down any notion that President Trump played a significant role in securing Ball's freedom. "Fuck Donald Trump, bro. Nobody give a fuck about Donald Trump," explained Yachty, who praises the Ball family and asks for some BBB merch. "It's money, bro—you got money, you can get outta anything."

If you didn't know, LiAngelo is the younger brother of rookie Los Angeles Lakers point guard Lonzo Ball and the son of LaVar Ball, who's the guy behind the unstoppable BBB promotional machine. A big part of that machine's been Lonzo's rapping, but that's a story for another day. What's important is LiAngelo's back.

Trump himself got on Twitter this morning to ponder, "Do you think the three UCLA Basketball Players will say thank you President Trump? They were headed for 10 years in jail!"

In Yachty-related news, the former XXL Freshman recently promised the release of two new projects. A couple days ago, he revealed plans to drop a joint project with Lil Pump. He also promised the release of his Lil Boat follow-up, Lil Boat 2, some time this year.

Check out what Yachty's got to say about LiAngelo Ball and President Trump in the video below.
