Louisiana Hot Sauce Expo July 18-19 Lafayette La

It's about to get "muey caliente" in the Hub City as this Saturday, July 18 and Sunday, July 19 is the Louisiana Hot Sauce Expo at Blackham Coliseum. The event takes place each day from 10am-6pm.

If you love hot sauces, then this event is right up your alley. But that's not all the Expo will contain. In addition to some of the world's greatest sauces, you can check out salsas, barbecue sauces, wine, cooking demonstrations and much more!

The cooking demos will feature the likes of Johnny McLaughlin of "CutThroat Kitchen" and "Chopped" fame along with Cindy Reed Wilkins, Two-Time International Chili Cook-off Champion.

There will also be an amazing Art Barn featuring regional and local artists showcasing and selling metal work, woodworking, jewelry and unique hand crafted merchandise.

On Saturday, July 18th, we at 97.3 The Dawg are proud to present the Cajun BBQ Bash. This will be a BCA sanctioned competition to find out who the best BBQer is in Acadiana. Teams can enter a dish in either or both chicken and pork ribs.
