The musical selections and marching bands have been announced for the 2015 Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade, and we are happy that the great state of Louisiana will be well represented! The 85 person 610 Stompers from New Orleans will not only walk in the historic parade, but will perform Jamiroquai's "Canned Heat" at Herald Square.

According to Marching.com 'Selection into the Macy's Parade was based on submitted videos of past performances, awards, national recognition, letters of recommendation and each band's unique personality to captivate an audience.'

Here they are doing a tribute to the '80s classic movie 'Flashdance'

The 610 Stompers are an all male dance group, who were formed in 2009, and are based out of New Orleans. They support many local and regional charities, and pride themselves on the hundreds of thousands of dollars raised for their community. We are proud to have them represent Louisiana on Thanksgiving Day in New York.
