LSU Basketball Offers Walk-On Henry Shortess A Scholarship [VIDEO]

LSU Basketball Coach Johnny Jones stood before his team this week and gave Henry Shortess, a walk-on player, a scholarship.

Coach Jones highlighted Shortess' determination and commitment to the team and then awarded the young man with a scholarship to LSU. His dream was full-filled as he stood before his teammates.

Aside from seeing Shortess get emotional in front of his peers, the best part of this video came when he was notifying his parents of Coach Jones' decision to award him with the scholarship. Yes, hard work and determination does payoff.
