The LSU Tigers begin their 2015 regular season schedule on Saturday evening, when coach Les Miles’ squad plays host to the McNeese St. Cowboys in non-conference action.

The game marks the only non-conference tune-up that the Tigers will have before opening conference play next week at Mississippi St..

LSU finished 8-5, overall last year, including a 4-4 SEC mark, while McNeese St. went 6-5, overall, and 4-4 in Southland Conference play.

Offensively, LSU is averaged 27.6 points, 387.5 total yards, 224.5 rushing yards, and 169.3 passing yards per game last season, while McNeese St. averaged 32.4 points, 396.5 yards of total offense, 221.9 rushing yards, and 174.6 passing yards per game.

Defensively, the Tigers allowed 17.5 points, 316.8 total yards, 152.7 rushing yards, and 164.2 passing yards a contest, while the Cowboys gave up 22.7 points, 330.2 total yards, 112.5 rushing yards, and 217.6 passing yards per match-up.
