The 4th-ranked LSU Tigers are back in action on Saturday evening, when coach Les Miles’ squad travels to Tuscaloosa, Alabama, to take on the 7th-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide in an important SEC match-up.

The game marks the first of four conference game to close the regular season for LSU.

LSU, who was idle last Saturday, ran their season-opening win streak to seven games back on October 24, defeating the WKU Hilltoppers in non-conference action, 48-20, to improve to 7-0, overall, while remaining 4-0 in SEC play.

Offensively, LSU is averaging 38.9 points, 466.0 total yards, 309.1 rushing yards, and 159.9 passing yards per game, while allowing 22.6 points, 315.9 total yards, 93.7 rushing yards, and 222.1 passing yards a contest, defensively.

LSU is led by sophomore running back Leonard Fournette, who has piled up 1,352 rushing yards, including 15 touchdowns, this season.

Alabama, who was also idle last Saturday, defeated Tennessee, 19-14, back on October 24, and will come into the contest at 7-1, overall, while standing at 4-1 in SEC USA play.

The Crimson Tide, is averaging 33.5 points per game, along with 421.9 yards, including 233.4 passing yards and 188.5 rushing yards, while allowing 16.4 points, 275.8 total yards, including 197.2 passing yards and 78.5 rushing yards.

Alabama is paced by junior running back Derrick Henry, who has rushed for 1,074 yards, including 14 touchdowns.

Alabama leads the all-time series, 49-25-5, and have won four-straight, including a 2-13 win in overtime a season ago.

Kickoff time is set for 7 o’clock.
