Ludacris is down in Atlanta prepping for his 11th annual Ludaday Weekend, which starts today, posting videos to Instagram of himself at last night's Braves game, but he's doing much more than rooting on his local ball club, with Atlanta's Shepherd Center sharing the above photo of Luda with a fan who is recovering from a spinal cord injury at the hospital.

"Best way to start off my week," Luda wrote, sharing the photo with his followers. "I met another Hero of mine today and he is one of the strongest minds and spirits I've had the pleasure of talking to in my lifetime. He's only 19 years old and we mostly spoke about how what seems impossible is always possible with the right mindset. He knows this from personal experience because he hasn't let his set back set him back."

The fan, Ryley Hopper, sustained his injury in July after mistakenly diving into a shallower end of a swimming pool, fracturing his C6 vertebrae and becoming paralyzed from the neck down. According to the Shepherd Center, Ludacris is one of Ryley's favorite rappers and actors, the two discussing The Fast and Furious franchise, which features Luda.

"What a crazy opportunity to visit with @ludacris today! Thanks for coming through and the good wishes.#ncwomen," Hopper wrote on his Instagram page along with a photo of his favorite rapper. To help Ryley, visit his website www.TheFight4Ry.com.
