MacKenzie Bourg Makes the Top 4 of ‘American Idol’
And the Mack Pack gets to keep cheering for their boy one more week at least.
Lafayette's MacKenzie Bourg moved on into the Top Four of "American Idol" last night!
In a night in which contestants sang songs requested by fans, viewers also got to know the contestants a bit better, with clips from their hometown and personal stories preceding each singer's performance.
MacKenzie shared the story about having to quit the basketball team at STM during his junior year after contracting a virus which triggered congestive heart failure.
"Music was his therapy," his mom Michelle Arceneaux said about her son's lengthy recovery process.
Of course, the work is not done for us to help get MacKenzie into the Top 3. Once "American Idol" gives us the go ahead and opens voting, here's what you need to do.
