Madonna’s Rep Unaware of Email Sent to Lady Gaga
Well, Well, Well…. as reported early this week in the Hot Morning Playhouse Lady Gaga claimed to have approval from Madonna for the similar sound of her new single. Now Madonna’s Rep is saying different.
Amidst criticism that her new single ‘Born This Way’ is a bit too similar to Madonna‘s ‘Express Yourself,’ Lady Gaga told Jay Leno when she was a guest on ‘The Tonight Show’ earlier this week that she received an email from Madonna’s camp, giving her blessing.
“I got an e-mail from her people and her, sending me their love and complete support on behalf of the single and if the queen says it shall be, then it shall be,” Gaga tells Leno.
However, Madonna’s rep told a different story, telling CNN’s entertainment division that she was unaware of an email sent by Madonna or other members of her professional entourage.
Even though Madonna’s rep might not have been informed of the email, that doesn’t necessarily mean it wasn’t sent. So, what’s the truth? We’ll have to wait and see who says what next.
