Malcolm Jenkins Says This Is Why He Flipped Off Former Coach Sean Payton [VIDEO]

The Eagles got trounced by the Saints and Malcolm Jenkins wasn't feeling it.

NBC Philadelphia spotted Jenkins giving his former coach the finger after the Saints went for it on fourth down early in the fourth quarter up 31 points. Alvin Kamara caught a dime from Drew Brees to score on a 37-yard touchdown.

After 48-7 loss to the Saints, Jenkins explained his gesture.

I'm a competitor. I love Sean to death. I know what type of guy and coach he is. That was more so personal between me and him. We talked after the game. It's all good. I know Sean. They're going to go for it. I was more so upset that it was on me. I got a lot of respect for what they're doing, especially Sean.

Payton sang Jenkins praises after the game, saying that letting him leave New Orleans was the biggest personnel mistake he's made while coaching the Saints.

I think the world of him. He's a tremendous player. I hate that he got out of here. That was probably as big a mistake as we've made here in 13 years. He's made up of all the right things, and he's a tremendous competitor.

Jenkins was drafted by the Saints in 2009, winning a Super Bowl with the team in his rookie season and played with New Orleans until 2013 before being picked up by the Eagles in 2014.

Jenkins won a Super Bowl with Philly last year, but according to the Eagles safety that doesn't win a "godd*mn game this year."
