Mamou Child Missing and May Be In Danger
The Louisiana State Police has issued a Level II Endangered/Missing Child Media Advisory on behalf of the Mamou Police Department for a 12-year-old boy reported missing from Mamou High School on Tuesday, April 26, 2016.
The child, Jalon Bradley, is a 12-year-old black male with black hair and brown eyes. He is approximately 5’0” tall and weighs about 95 pounds. He was last seen wearing a navy blue school uniform shirt, khaki shorts and black and white Nike shoes.
Jalon was taken from Mamou High School by his non-custodial mother, Elaine Freeman, at approximately 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday, April 26, 2016. Jalon is believed to be in imminent danger.
Elaine Freeman is a 34-year-old black female with black hair and brown eyes. She is approximately 5’0” tall and weighs about 220 pounds. Freeman may be driving a white SUV, possibly a Chevrolet Tahoe or GMC Yukon, and could be en route to Jackson, Mississippi.
Anyone having any information as to the whereabouts of Jalon Bradley and/or Elaine Freeman should immediately contact the Mamou Police Department at 337-468-5221.
UPDATE:
This is the truck the Mamou Police are looking for in this case. The vehicle involved in the abduction is thought to be a white Chevrolet or GMC crew cab pickup truck with chrome wheels.
