Man Confronts Lady At Walmart For Shoplifting [VIDEO]

Watch this guy confront a shoplifter at Walmart.
A man followed a would-be shoplifter around Walmart, then waited for the right time to confront her. Once she realized she was being watched, she started denying that she was shoplifting at all.

Then the guy becomes very angry and tells her to take everything out of her purse and if she doesn't he will hold her down. She then starts to unload her purse full of stolen items.

He asks her for identification, but the lady was so nervous she hands him a social security card and takes off running out of the store.

My questions are: Was the guy in the right for doing this? Is he the hero he thinks he is? Was the girl even shoplifting at all?

Technically, she wasn't caught out of the store with the items. Is this considered shoplifting?
