Man Gets Awarded $21.5 Million After Getting Hit By Sliding Door On Cruise Ship [VIDEO]

According to the Fox News Insider, 61-year-old James Hausman is $21 million richer after he got hit in the head by a cruise ship sliding door.

What helped him was the cruise ship's own surveillance camera. It caught the moment Hausman got knocked in the head by the sliding doors as he walked through with a group of passengers.

He was later diagnosed with a concussion by a ship doctor. Hausman’s lawyer told the court:

Tests showed that Hausman suffered a minor brain injury, causing seizures and memory loss.

This verdict is one of the largest settlements from a cruise ship ever.
