Man Sought For Robbing A Lafayette Piccadilly

The Arnould Boulevard location of Piccadilly restaurant was robbed at gunpoint this morning.

Around 9 a.m., the suspect walked into the restaurant, stood around for a few minutes in the lobby then pulled out a gun from a bag he had with him.

The white male was given cash, and the man ran away from the area.

No one was injured, and no police say the search is on the for the man.

The suspect is described as a white man who had on a red polo shirt along with a blue hat.  The picture came from the restaurant's surveillance video.

Police are asking anyone with information on the man to call Lafayette Police or to call Lafayette  Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
