EATONTOWN, N.J. (AP) — Police in New Jersey have ticketed a man for securing a 5-year-old to his motorcycle with twine.

Police in Easton say the twine was tied around the boy's feet and waist so that he wouldn't fall off the bike. Police also say the boy's helmet was too big for his head.

Police tell the Asbury Park Press newspaper that the boy's mother gave her permission to let 53-year-old Frank Albanese of New York take the boy on his bike to Staten Island.

Albanese was also ticketed for driving with a suspended license.
