Mariah Carey will return to the R&B game with a brand new song called 'Almost Home.' The ballad, which is scheduled to be released on Feb. 19, is from Disney's fantasy movie, 'Oz the Great and Powerful.'

Mimi co-produced the song with the hit-making team Stargate. She says that the effort works beautifully with the film. “It’s a feel-good record, evoking the feeling of reaching your home and being with people that you love," she stated in a press release.

Photographer-filmmaker David LaChapelle will helm the video for the song and describes it as "a duet between Mariah and the movie." LaChapelle has worked with Carey before, having shot her 'Loverboy' music video and photographed many of her album covers.

The release of 'Almost Home' could also mean that the 'We Belong Together' singer will finally drop her long-awaited 14th album in the spring. Last year, Carey released the single, 'Triumphant (Get 'Em)' featuring Rick Ross and Meek Mill, which garnered a lukewarm response from fans and critics alike.

The Sam Raimi-directed film 'Oz The Great and Powerful' opens in U.S. theaters on March 8.
