Mars Inc., makers of Snickers and M&Ms, announced Thursday it will phase out the king-size version of its candy bars, the Chicago Tribune reports.

The candymaker will stop shipping bars that contain more than 250 calories by the end of 2013. The company’s chocolate brands include Snickers, Twix, 3 Musketeers, Milky Way, M&Ms and Galaxy.

The king-size version of Snickers racks up a whopping 510 calories; king-size M&M have 470 calories. A regular-size Snickers has 280 calories; a regular-size peanut M&Ms boasts 250 calories per package.

Mars also plans to reduce their sodium levels in all products by 25 percent by 2015.
