Are you ready for some football? On Sunday (Jan. 20), the New Orleans Saints will play the Los Angeles Rams in an NFC playoff matchup. The winner of the game will then head to the 2019 Super Bowl.

New Orleans native Master P couldn’t be happier for his hometown team. So much so, that he challenged rapper YG, who is a big Rams fan, to a $40,000 bet that the Saints will take down the Rams.

During a brief chat with TMZ on Tuesday (Jan. 15), the No Limit Records founder said that he’s taking all side bets. Master P acknowledged that YG won a $20,000 bet from Post Malone last week after the Rams beat the Cowboys, but now he's raising the stakes.

"Okay, double that," the "Ain't Right" rapper said. "We good. YG, I know you beat Post Malone. But, that's not happening in the dome. The Saints are my team so we're going to the Super Bowl this year."

“This is not going to be light work," P said about the Saints-Rams matchup. “This is championship football, so it’s going to be a great game.”

“The Rams are my second favorite team since I live in L.A., but it’s Saints all the way,” he added.

In addition, Master P said his son, Romeo Miller, plans to hook up quarterback Drew Brees with a special pair of his new MoneYatti sneakers.

We don't know if YG has accepted Master P's challenge yet.
