Maya Rudolph Adds A Little Beyonce Flare To The National Anthem During Tulane’s Commencement [VIDEO]
Former Saturday Night Live comedian, Maya Rudolph, kicked off Tulane Universities commencement on Saturday, May 16 with a parody of the National Anthem.
Even before Maya Rudolph opens her mouth you can tell you're about to hear the National Anthem like never before, her facial expression says it all. From Maya's vocal improvisations to the addition of lyrics from "Take Me Out To The Ball Game" and Beyonce's "Single Ladies", this is one rendition of the National Anthem the 2015 graduates of Tulane will never forget!
I've gotta give it to Maya, girl can sing! Yeah, maybe she was mocking different singers and their vocal styles, but she did it perfectly and actually sounded pretty darn good. And judging by all the laughter in the audience I would say everyone loved her performance.
