Mayor of New York Dropped Groundhog…And It Died [VIDEO]

Back in February, the Mayor of New York, Bill de Blasio, dropped the groundhog named "Staten Island Chuck" and it died a week later from internal injuries.

Now, to make things even more interesting, "Chuck" was actually "Charlotte." Yup, the zoo used a female groundhog in the place of Chuck because back in 2009, Chuck bit the mayor of New York.

The "New York Post" has an article reporting how the zoo kept this quiet for so long---until now!! Poor "Charlotte," all that she wanted to do was either see her shadow or not, and she got dropped.
