We've all heard the rumors, and now a McDonald's manager has revealed that you can indeed order "secret" menu items from the fast food chain.

UK-based McDonald's manager, username OrchidHibiscus on Reddit, did an AMA (ask me anything) revealing that you can definitely order secret menu items, although they aren't really that "secret."

The Reddit user claimed to be a shift manager at a McDonald's in Glasgow, Scotland and revealed that any additional ingredient on an existing menu item is referred to as a "grill order."

So when you roll up to the drive thru and ask for your Big Mac with no onions or cheese, you are placing what is considered to be a "grill order."

Subtracting condiments and adding cheese to sandwiches may not seem like much of a secret, but OrchidHibiscus says workers do actually know some custom combinations by name.

The employee referenced Secret Menu items like the Land, Sea and Air Burger ("Big Mac, Filet-O-Fish, & McChicken All in One") and the crudely named McGangbang ("A McChicken Sandwich inside of a McDouble") as potential food mashups that customers can order ingredients for.

In addition to those, #HackTheMenu has a whole list of things you can put together to stretch your Secret Menu possibilities to the limit.

Mashable reached out to McDonald's UK who denied any claims of a Secret Menu,

We do not have a secret menu at McDonald’s UK. That’s because we love the food that we serve in our restaurants and we don’t want to keep it a secret from our customers.

They did say that customers can ask for changes, and that any additional items are at the managers discretion.

Have you or someone know you know worked at McDonald's? Is there a secret menu?
