On Friday (March 22), the film and TV star posted a video on his Instagram page where he calls Kodak Black “Kodak Wack” and says the rapper is "not even a top 10 mumble rapper.”

“Duke, you are not dope. You are not a dope rapper. You have no skill set, you have no flow, you have no vernacular,” he says in the video. “Without the face tats, the wild hairdo and the short stint in prison, you be working at UPS.”

“Comparing yourself to [Tupac Shakur, The Notorious B.I.G. and Nas] is like a guy playing basketball in his backyard shooting air balls and comparing himself to an NBA player,” he continues. “Get the fuck outta here with that crazy shit."

This isn't the first time Rapaport has criticized a popular rap artist. Back in February, the 49-year-old podcaster called Meek Mill a "trash rapper" in tweets about his performance at the 2019 NBA All-Star Game. After facing backlash from social media, Rapaport backtracked on his remarks.

"I should not have used that word. He's absolutely not a trash rapper," he told Sway on his morning radio show Sway's Universe. "It was wrong and it wasn't the right word. He's not a trash rapper. I can't but I wish I could take that word back. I'm harsh with my hip-hop opinion and it was just the wrong word. It's just not valid and not true. It just wasn't reasonable and it was a stupid word to use."
