A Michigan police officer went beyond the call of duty when he purchased a booster seat for a young mom going through a rough financial time.

The young mom, who was traveling with a friend, put her little girl in the back seat of the car without a booster seat and that's when a safety officer noticed the young girl was not properly restrained in the car. Doing his job, he pulled the car over and found out that the little girl was not restrained because her mother could not afford a booster seat.

The young lady recently had her car repossessed, and when they took her car, they also took the little girl's booster seat. Not being able to afford one, the young lady took a chance traveling with her little one.

Once the officer heard of the mother's situation, he told her to meet him at Wal-Mart in 15 minutes and that is where he bought the mom a booster seat for the little girl. It's quiet clear that this officer had the little girl's safety in mind here and he certainly went beyond the call of duty.

What a wonderful story, and more so, what a wonderful human being this man is. We can all learn something from this story!!!
