Mickey Shunick To Be Honored At UL-Lafayette Night of Remembrance Program

UL student, Mickey Shunick, who was kidnapped and murdered last year will be honored by the university Wednesday, May 1 at 7 p.m. at the UL Alumni Center.

The event is a memorial in honor of students, faculty, staff and other loved ones lost in the previous year. The public is invited to attend this event, and there is no admission fee.

When Mickey was murdered, she was a senior at UL. Brandon Scott Lavergene is serving a life sentence for the murder of Mickey in the state penitentiary.
