Migos might catch some flak for this one. The hip-hop trio just gave an extensive interview to Rolling Stone, in which they seem to question the support for iLoveMakonnen coming out as gay.

On Jan. 20, Makonnen came out as gay on social media, saying, “Someone said to me next time they see me, they was gonna fuck me, I said next time I see me, I’m gonna love me up,” he wrote. “As a fashion icon, I can’t tell u about everybody else’s closet, I can only tell u about mine, and it’s time I’ve come out. And since y’all love breaking news, here’s some old news to break, I’m gay. And now I’ve told u about my life, maybe u can go [live] yours.”

While Makonnen got a lot of support from fans on the Internet, Migos seem taken aback by the support of their fellow ATLien's dating choices. In the Rolling Stone article, Quavo says, "Damn, Makonnen!" He also seems surprised that fans were accepting of Makonnen, as Quavo raises an eyebrow and asks, "They supported him?"

Meanwhile, Offset is more concrete with his statement, saying the support came "because the world is fucked up." Then, Takeoff says, "This world is not right."

Quavo continues, saying, "We ain't saying it's nothing wrong with the gays," but then later alludes to there being an issue because "[Makonnen] first came out talking about trapping and selling Molly, doing all that [...] That's wack, bro."

Migos have been on an absolute tear recently, as the success of their new album CULTURE continues to rise to new heights. However, they might receive a bit of criticism for their polarizing statements about iLoveMakonnen.
