To recap Miley Cyrus' activities over the past month or so, we had that infamous MTV Video Music Awards performance with Robin Thicke, her nude scenes in that 'Wrecking Ball' video, the iHeart Radio Music Festival performance where she cried while singing that song and finally the so-ridiculous-it-might-be-true rumors of her getting pregnant with Juicy J's child. It's news for us, but for Cyrus it's just more publicity for her new album, 'Bangerz,' which is currently streaming on iTunes.

The album is Cyrus' first since 2010's 'Can't Be Tamed.' 'Bangerz,' which features Billboard chart-topper 'Wrecking Ball,' is highly publicized because of its edgier, more sexualized style -- a far cry from the singer's Disney Channel roots.

The pop star has collaborated with a number of hip-hop artists to make this transformation a success. Mike WiLL Made It, who Cyrus teamed up with on her lead single, 'We Can't Stop,' also has writing credits on six out of the 12 other records on the LP.

The other slated features are Nelly, French Montana, Big Sean and Future. Britney Spears is the only non-rap feature on 'Bangerz.'

'Bangerz,' which Cyrus describes as a "dirty south hip-hop" record, will officially hit stores on Oct. 8.
