Mom Outraged After Special Needs Daughter Was Asked To Remove Glasses For Class Picture [VIDEO]
Picture day at school is supposed to be a fun day filled with memories.
Abby Lubiewski is a special-needs student that was born with cataracts due to a rare genetic syndrome, and without her glasses she can not see. Abby's mom was outraged when she found out they took a school picture without her special glasses.
That wasn't the only reason why her mom was outraged. She found out that other students that wore glasses were allowed to wear theirs in the school pictures.
Miss Lubiewski then contacted the photographer that took the pictures.
According to My Fox in Tampa, the company apologized stating:
'We should have never had your daughter remove her glasses for the photo. We do not tolerate discrimination of any kind on our team.'
They even offered her a retake for free.
