Although not uncommon, it's still gross and unsettling to find bed bugs in a movie theater.

A  Lodi, California cinema had to be shut down after people complained about bug bites while watching a movie.

Just a day at the movies turned into a nightmare for two teen girls. All they wanted to do was spend their day off catching a movie, and left with red bumps all over their arms and legs!

They complained to theater management about the creepy crawlers, but according to NEWS 10, the teen girls claim more movie goers were still allowed inside the theater.

Shortly after the theater made the discovery they shut down the theater. According to Lodi Stadium 12 Cinemas:

"On Saturday we were made aware of a negative experience one family of viewers had this Friday. Our customers our our first priority so we acted as quickly as possible to identify any environmental concern that may have existed. We immediately closed."

Several pest vehicles showed up the next day and they expect to open on August 21, 2014. Sounds like they handled it accordingly, and YES I would go back.

Would you go back to this movie theater if it was infested?
