Justin Bieber is always a busy bee in the news, but this time around it’s for sending flirty text messages to Ariana Grande and for that n-word related controversy he inadvertently got roped into. See kids, sometimes he’s not at fault after all. Read: sometimes.

First up, his propensity to send texts to singer Ariana Grande even though he barely says more than “hi” and “bye” to her in real life and she’s dating Nathan Sykes of the Wanted.

“Justin’s the most famous contact I have in my phone! I felt so cool when he started texting me,” Grande revealed to M Magazine. “I didn’t believe it was him at first. He wrote, ‘What’s up cutie?’ I dropped my phone and thought, ‘That did not just happen.’”

Cue all the death threats from crazed Justin Bieber fans. Or all the ones who hadn’t already done it after seeing this picture.

Continued Grande, “I did a cover of ‘Die In Your Arms’ and Justin tweeted it and said he liked it, and that meant the world to me. The fact that he did that means that he thinks I have some credibility as an artist. I’d love to work with him one day.”

“I think he’s adorable and amazing.”

As for that whole fake Justin Bieber song complete with the use of the N-word that had everyone screaming for people to think of the children?

The Bieber sound-alike and aspiring R&B singer Khalil Underwood, who took the brunt of the blame for the song, is saying that he’s not at fault but the thinks he knows who is: Beliebers.

Underwood told TMZ that Bieber fans actually believed the song was by their idol and leaked it on YouTube hoping to share the new single with other fans … only to learn the hard way that it wasn’t the Biebs at all.

Instead of being upset by people pointing their fingers at him and yelling “publicity stunt,” Underwood took the whole thing in stride, admitting, “It’s good to know if I was as big as Justin Bieber people would like my music.”
