Naming Rights To The Cajundome Are Up For Grabs

It has been the home to basketball games, concerts, wrestling events, hockey games, monster truck shows, and more…Its the Lafayette Cajundome!!! However, the venue that has been open since 1985 needs a new name…for at least five days that this.

The management at the Cajun Dome is auctioning off the name of the venue for five days with all proceeds benefiting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Acadiana.For the past eleven years, the management at the Cajundome has played a vital role in helping fund the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Acadiana.

The Cajudome will auction off the name on EBAY for Mardi Gras weekend. During the dates of February 8 - 12th, the Cajundome will sport a new name. Bidding  on the new name will be open to any person, group, or even business and the highest bidder will name the arena anything they want as long as it isn't profane or offensive. The starting bid will be $500 and starts on Saturday, January 26th and will close Tuesday, February 5th.

If you or your group or business wins the naming rights, you will have the new name of the dome on the marquee for the 5 days of Mardi Gras. All proceeds will go to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Acadiana.
