A multi-car crash injured 28 spectators at the end of NASCAR's Nationwide Series race at Daytona International Speedway earlier today. During the final lap Kyle Larson's No. 32 car crashed into the fence in front of the stands tearing the vehicle in half and throwing debris into the seats filled with fans.

The angle above shows a much scarier view of the crash, as someone next to the person filming from the stands seems to have been hit by a tire that can be seen near the crowd that forms around them. Fourteen of the injured people were taken to area hospitals. Two patients are listed in critical condition - one with a life-threatening head injury, and the other being a child.

Both are stable, as Sunday's Daytona 500 race will go on as scheduled.
