The NFL has taken a lot of negative news this football season, but one heartwarming story we have all fallen in love with it is the support the league has offered up for Devon Still of the Cincinnati Bengals.

Still's 4-year-old daughter has been battling cancer and recently under went a successful surgery to remove cancerous tumors. Still, who was kept by the Bengals because of his situation, has worked his way onto the active roster and is now playing a vital role in the teams success.

Last night on Sunday Night Football, the New England Patriots hosted the Cincinnati Bengals and during the game the Patriots cheerleaders wore Still's jersey on the sideline to show their support for him. The crowd also gave Still a standing ovation as soon as they noticed the cheerleaders with his jersey on.

This is why we love sports. What a beautiful gesture by a first-class organization.
