The Definitive Guide To Partying, Tailgating + All Things Ragin’ Cajuns For New Orleans Bowl 2013
New Orleans Bowl weekend will be here before you know it. With the tens of thousands of UL fans expected to embark on the Big Easy come December 21, when the Ragin’ Cajuns take on the Tulane Green Wave; parties, tailgating and fun are very necessary.
Luckily, Hot 107.9 – your Official Ragin’ Cajuns Station – has you covered.
In addition to the official events that are already set to take place surrounding the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl we’ve got the parties and tailgating experiences that you definitely don’t want to miss.
Whether you plan on tailgating with food and drinks around the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, or hitting up Bourbon St. (when in Rome, right?) here spots that you definitely need to be at during New Orleans Bowl weekend – especially if you’re a Ragin’ Cajuns fan!
711 BOURBON ST.
For the third year in a row, Bourbon Heat is your Ragin’ Cajuns headquarters on Bourbon Street. This place has it all, whether you want to hang out downstairs, in the courtyard, grab a bite to eat, party and dance upstairs in their nightclub, or hang out on their balcony overlooking the world-famous Bourbon St. – it’s all at Bourbon Heat!
For those of you getting in early on Friday night, be sure to hit up the official “Welcome To NOLA BOWL Weekend” Party at Bourbon Heat, featuring some of Downtown Lafayette’s favorite resident DJs.
Like we said earlier, it’s a great place to pop in all day Saturday if you’re on Bourbon, and they will be showing the game on ALL their flat screen TVs – so if you aren’t cheering on the Cajuns in the dome, this is the next best place!
After the game, get ready for the after-party thrown by your Official Ragin’ Cajuns Station! Join Chris Reed, DJ Digital, Speedy and the rest of the Hot Crew along with DJ Kemistry, DJ Torch, DJ Scoop and Corey B as we take the party to the wee hours of the morning with Ragin’ Cajuns football players in the house, along with our friends from the Ragin’ Jazz.
Before, during and after the game; make Bourbon Heat your NOLA BOWL Bourbon St. Headquarters!
