New Orleans Saints Safety Kenny Vaccaro To Undergo Surgery

From what I heard during the New Orleans Saints craptastic loss to the Carolina Panthers yesterday, it was likely that Saints safety Kenny Vaccaro suffered a broken ankle. I never heard it confirmed...until now. It seems he will undergo surgery for it. Keep reading for more info.

Saints safety Kenny Vaccaro will not be back until next season.

WWL Saints Sideline Reporter Kristian Garic reports that the team today said that Vaccaro is having surgery to repair a fractured ankle.

Vaccaro was injured and carted off the field after having an air cast placed on his leg during Sunday's loss to the Panthers.

 

Vaccaro has 77 tackles on the season with a forced fumble and an interception. Dude was in on almost every defensive play...bad news.
