Former LSU Football star and now Arizona Cardinal Tyrann Mathieu sat in a hot car as way to remind all of us that we should never leave our pets or children in the car during these hot summer days.

Within minutes Tyrann was sweating and gasping for air. Could you imagine if this was an animal covered in fur or even a child strapped into a car seat? The consequences could be deadly.

We would like to take a minute to remind all of you to NEVER LEAVE your pet or child in your car or truck. Heat indices are exceeding 100-degrees in South Louisiana this summer and NOBODY can sustain the heat in a car or truck.

Please remember when you get out of your car this summer to take your kids and/or pets with you. Within seconds the heat in cars/trucks can be deadly as it reaches 120-degrees.
