Despite trying to keep the song under wraps before its Aug. 4 release, Nicki Minaj's highly-anticipated single 'Anaconda' leaked online today (Aug. 1).

The obvious sound in the track is the sample of Sir Mix-a-Lot's classic booty anthem, 'Baby Got Back.'

The song flips the Seattle rhymer's "My anaconda don’t want none, unless you got buns, hon” line, as well as the “Oh my gosh, look at her butt” quip.

On the track, Queen Barbz raps raunchy sex tales of various guys she's met who had big, well, anacondas.

In one line, Minaj meets this one guy named Michael who has a “d--- bigger than a tower and I'm not talking about Eiffel.” She then tells us that the sex was so good that it "put his ass to sleep, now he's callin’ me Nyquil.”

"Bang, bang, I'm let him hit because he slang cocaine / He tossed my salad like his name romaine," she raps further.

Lyrically, this is not Minaj's greatest rap performance. And it also begs the question of why she's going down this sexualized path after establishing herself as a top-notch MC? She no longer has to show us her booty to get our attention -- just her lyrical skills.

Near the end, Minaj dedicates the song to all of the ladies with "big fat asses."

Whether or not this tune is going to be a female anthem remains to be seen.

Interestingly, according to reports, Beyonce will evidently appear on the final version of the single, which explains the week-long delay.

Tell us what you think of Nicki Minaj's 'Anaconda' track -- dope or nope?
