Nicki Minaj has accomplished yet another milestone in her career, adding another bragging right to her list.

The raunchy rapper from Queens has tied Aretha Franklin for the most Hot 100 singles amongst women. According to Billboard, Nicki’s guest appearance on Gucci Mane’s “Make Love” peaked the No. 78 spot on the chart, making it her 73rd Hot 100 single.

Billboard states that out of the 73 singles that Nicki Minaj has, she has been the lead artist on 29 of those records and the featured artist on the remaining 44. Aretha Franklin has been the lead artist on all 73 of her singles.

Nicki first made the Hot 100 list with her single “Your Love” which charted at No. 14 back in 2010. Her second appearance on the charts came when she featured on Lil Wayne’s 2010 record “Knockout” which peaked at No. 44 six months prior to her first solo appearance. She has full bragging rights to thirteen Top 10 tracks, which include her most successful chart topper to date, “Anaconda.” The remake to Sir Mix-A-Lot’s classic effort hit the Top 10 as it took the No. 2 spot in 2014.

With a long list of other female musicians such as Rihanna, Taylor Swift and Madonna who have a great amount of Hot 100 singles, Nicki Minaj and Aretha Franklin are leading the pack. There are nine months left in the year and Nicki has yet to drop her album. She has much more time to grab that No. 1 spot.
