Nicki Minaj unleashed a series of tweets last night (May 10) revealing that Safaree "SB" Samuels, her ex and former employee, had finally made good on his threats to sue the rapper. As her updates made clear, Nicki finds his choice both "greedy" and unfounded, and even said she'd previously caught him stealing from her.

Sharing that she'd been served with a lawsuit on May 9, she wrote of Samuels, "Two years later this poor excuse of a man is suing me & claiming to have been physically & emotionally abused. Lol. He's so miserable."

Minaj and Samuels were together for over 11 years, and Samuels, an aspiring rapper himself, also worked as Nicki's assistant and hype man. After their split in 2014, Samuels publicly accused Nicki of everything from infidelity (she maintains he cheated on her) to drug use to not crediting him for lyrics he says he wrote himself. The latter claim seems particularly dubious when you listen to "Love the Most," Samuels' lamentable attempt at a Nicki diss track, shared via TMZ in June 2015. A second, equally-terrible followup called "Lifeline" dropped a month later, in which he restated claims that he ghostwrote on her 2014 album The Pinkprint.

Though Nicki has refuted his claims both onstage and on Twitter — and since moved on to a very public relationship with rapper Meek Mill — Safaree's continued to make a cottage industry out of discussing their breakup, appearing on radio shows like Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club or wherever they'll have him, really. Now, according to Nicki, he's prolonged his remaining ties to her with a legal battle.

In her string of tweets, Nicki also alleged that she previously caught Safaree stealing money, and claimed he's continued to harass her with frequent and unwelcome e-mail messages. "My man asked him to stop emailing me. I also asked him several times. This man can't move on. It's really sad. I have the emails to prove it."
