For the last time, President Obama had bigger things to worry about than approving a controversial trip to Cuba for Jay-Z and Beyonce. He said so himself in a chat with the 'TODAY' show.

Tourist travel to Cuba is embargoed, and requires permission from the Treasury Department, but the Hova rapped that he got express clearance from Obama himself. Most peeps didn't get that he was taking poetic license. But it seems that Obama was not stoked about the critical blowback he had to deal with from the song and their trip.

The president was specifically asked if he aware of the couple's vacay and if he heard 'Open Letter' during his interview on 'TODAY.'

"I wasn't familiar that they were taking the trip," he said with a grin that suggested he knew this question was coming and that he's sorta "over" it and the headaches the issue has caused. "My understanding is, I think they went through a group that organizes these educational trips down to Cuba."

He finished, "This is not something the White House was involved with. We've got better things to do."

True dat.
