Official Christmas Lighting at Le Vieux Village in Opelousas is December 5

It's the most wonderful time of the year, and aren't we lucky to celebrate the holidays right here in Acadiana! We have a lot of really fun family events coming up, and the official lighting of Le Vieux Village in Opelousas is one of them! This is a free family event to usher in the holiday season, and will take place Friday December 5th from 5:30 - 8:30 PM at 828 E Landry St. There will be photos with Santa, arts and crafts, pony rides, LIVE reindeer and of course the lighting of the beautiful Le Vieux Village! There will also be an ornament making station, made possible by Our Savior’s Church and the St. Landry Parish BBQ Festival Queens - the ornament making station will be free! Make plans to bring the entire family out for this festive holiday tradition in Opelousas!
